OUR AIM

We envisioned an authentic heritage stay for our guests without compromising with the nature and its maximum stability and sustainability. The very primary concern, focus and our everlasting effort goes towards our pledge to eco-friendliness and creating a unique self-sustaining entity in coming years.

What makes us unique:
An eco-friendly Resort

We promote green-living, i.e., significantly reducing the environmental impact through green best practises in maintenance ,services, logistics, products and supplies.

We have used Bamboo as our one of the primary building materials as well as furnitures and fixtures and as artefacts for beautification. Bamboo is considered as one of the best eco-friendly building element as it has an incredibly high self-generation rate.

The beds we provide are made from 100% natural and organic materials, all wood that we used are recycled teakwood furnitures remodelled and converted into absolute elegance by our excellent team of craftsmen and artists.

We use bamboo fibre fabrics and towels; 100% recyclable bamboo toothbrushes and neemwood combs; the soaps, shower gels and fragrances we are using in our bathrooms are all completely natural and organic. We also refill all shampoo containers to minimise packaging wastes.

Here we are implementing minimum plastic usage. Even all our dustbins, bathroom buckets, tumblers and mugs are made up of steel.

The grey water from bathrooms and kitchen is stored in an underground reservoir and is recycled to a large extent in our own farm and garden.

In our entire architecture we ensure maximum natural lights to come in and proper air ventilation ensured.

We only use LED lighting and are working on investing capital into efficient and energy saving kitchen and laundry equipments.

We mostly prepare local cuisines using locally grown products from nearby farms/gardens thus reducing carbon footprint by keeping our food miles low.

By avoiding/ not encouraging the use of processed food and mineral water bottles we try to keep non-biodegradable wastes to a minimum.

All biodegradable wastes such as excess food or kitchen wastes are generally consumed by our livestock or is composted, thereby reducing our wastes to almost null.

We exclusively incorporate local villagers as our employees so that they can work in their own village and can stay with their families, when a good income is assured from their job here. This also allows them to continue with their traditional work of farming and engaging with their unique handworks.

We create excellent opportunities for a deep cultural immersion for our young travellers, where they can learn more about our indigenous village culture. It also makes our guests aware of the challenges that urban lifestyles pose to environmental sustainability in contrast to rural livings.

REGULATIONS TO FOLLOW HERE:

  • We expect our valued customers to maintain our basic rules to keep our area eco-friendly as much as possible by minimizing use of plastic litters, thoughtful use of electrical devices and keeping the rooms and premises clean and environment friendly.
  • We don’t possess (or wish to apply for) an alcohol license for public consumption by guests. We won’t allow any consumption of alcohol outside the room/in public. Management shall not remain responsible for any dispute arising out of this issue.
  • Sound volumes should be kept to private levels and the help of all our guests is sought in maintaining the peaceful environment of the village atmosphere.
  • Walking within the building and public places is strictly restricted after 11 pm except for emergency. Please return to your respective rooms by 11 pm.
  • Our main gate is closed at 10 pm everyday for security reasons.
  • No outside food is allowed inside the resort.

OUR DISCLAIMERS

1. Please keep it in mind that this property is located in a village that is surrounded by agricultural lands, trees and water bodies. It is only natural that there are mosquitoes, insects and certain lizards/reptiles in the area. We judiciously treat the gardens and rooms by professional pest control devices at regular interval, however, we can’t be responsible for any unfortunate incidents( for eg. Insect/snakebites) which are beyond our control.

2. As we have rural infrastructure ,though we have regular maintenance and upkeep of all gadgets and appliances, sudden breakdowns/ power cuts/ electrical snags are unavoidable and beyond human control. We will try our best to ensure repair services.
